Angel Sharks in Tenerife

Our very regular customers, the Hurley's were back again form Ireland.

This time Richard jr and little David, who's not so little anymore, were back to do the PADI Advanced course.

The first 2 dives were Boat and Fish identification dives .

The boys enjoyed getting back into the ocean, but we think today, they enjoyed driving the boat more! The sketches of the fish for the fish ID adventure dive were "interesting" but the boys were able to work out exactly what they had seen from them!

Diving with Turtles in Tenerife

Melissa was back with another group of divers to her favourite sites at El Puertito.

Steve was doing his last 2 dives, Gina was doing her first recreational dives and last before returning to Iraq, and we had new comers Mike and Shona.

All the divers set off in search of the Turtles and it was long before they came across 3 of the family that live in the bay
As always a great experience for any diver to see the graceful Turtles up close.

Also on the dives were 3 Nudibranc's, many Cuttle fish, Lizard fish, and Melissa favourites the Star fish.

A great days diving with lovely people.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving in Tenerife

Time for a Father and Daughter duo from Gloucester who wanted to try diving , so we started their PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience in the pool.

Chloe felt at ease immediately whilst Cormack took a little time to relax whilst doing the necessary skills.

After a little while we ere off on our boat to have a couple of dives in the ocean.

The pair really enjoyed themselves and it didn't take long before the were gilding around with ease.

Lots to see at our favourite dive site, Yellow Mountain, and great visibility.

Now the duo are hooked we are hoping to see them again soon for the PADI Open Water course.

Sting Ray City in Tenerife

Steve and Ken were back for yet more diving joining John and Tash for our special dive to Poco Naufragio.

Our unique site is well known for the Rays that are found there and today was no disappointment with 4 large Rays, 3 small Common Rays and a selection of Moray Eel's as well.

A visit from some American Divers

Another couple of new divers to Dive & Sea Tenerife are Watson and James. 

The divers are from New York and are having their first ever stay in Tenerife, so they thought they would check out the diving.

First of all Watson needed a Scuba Tune Up, as he hadn't been in the water for some time so he went off with Pete to the pool, and then we were off for a couple of dives at Alien Rock and Crocodile Rock joined by Melissa.

Well that's it everyone almost the end of 2011.

Gina ~ PADI Open Water Diver

Gina was in to complete her PADI Open Water course so straight off to the pool, to finish the confined sessions before getting back into the ocean.

2 dives followed in which she performed all the required skills with ease. During the tour portions of the dives she showed how quickly some people can improve their buoyancy and just glided through the water like a Pro.
