a Bright start to the week, with Phil and Marta for their Rescue Course Scenarios, we headed off to Marina Sur and out into the bay, we had a great dive to start off with and saw a friendly cuttle fish, before starting with the rescue exercises.
They both had a great morning and thanks to Daisy and Minnie for playing stooges! Congratulations to Marta for passing her Rescue Course, Phil just has the exam to sit ......
Great news as we welcomed new intern Jack aka Jeff to the Dive Centre. Jeff has joined the eight week PADI Divemaster Internship as an Open Water diver and first of all we headed down to the pool to complete his Scuba Review, Jeffs skills were already of a high standard so we are looking forward to seeing him progress. Another great session for Daisy who is practising for her Instructor Development course starting January 30th.
Melissa and Jeff went through his Induction, a nice quick morning and then lots of study for Jeff, with the Advanced Dvd and the start of the EFR dvd.
Welcome back to Tinman, new Instructor who has come back to gain some experience as an Instructor, so that he can work towards his Maste Scuba Diver Trainer, he is also planning on completing some instructor Specialites while he is here too. As always its a pleasure to welcome back a familiar face.
Tinman dived straight in on tuesday with a trip to Abades with Sandra, Martin, Tony and Ann they had a great morning out and really enjoyed the dives, where they saw Cuttle fish, Barracuda as well as wrasse bream and damsels.
A very early start for everyone at Abades for the night dive joining us for this dive was Ann, Phil, Jens, Tinman, Jeff, and Daisy. We had the most amazing nightdive, and were so lucky to see two Angel Sharks, White spotted octopus, cuttlefish as well as hundreds of sleeping fish, we all had an amazing time, then they all headed off to Las Eras joined by Sandra, Martin and then they were lucky enough to see yet another Angel shark, the team were on a high when they arrived back.
Congratulations to Jens for passing his Advanced Open Water Course!! We look forward to seeing him back for more diving soon as Jens is a resident here in Tenerife.
A new site to the team at dive and sea at Radazul, after a good session in the pool for Discover Scuba diving with Jacqui, Robyn and Nathan they all did really well in the pool and were excited to complete their dive at Radazul, on the open water dive they were joined by Dad tony, and Richard, Tony and Ann. We all had a fantastic couple of dives despite the SNOW thats right snow in radazul and lots of rain :-)
On the right side of the dive site you could see lots of anemones, Trumpet fish and lots of scorpian, fish, then on the second dive off to the left hand side we found a nativity scene and lots of barracuda. Two great dives.
Ann, loved this dive so much she begged Tinman to return there for her last dives on this visit to Tenerife. Off they went to explore, Jeff, Daisy and Tinman, they had two amazing dives the day could not have been different bright sunny skies and calm seas. They were really happy to discover a christmas tree that had been sunk by the local divers, as well as finding lots of gorgeous anemones large shoals of barracuda.
Its a week of arrivals as Vince has returned to start his Pre IDC training, as he starts his PADI Instructor Development course with Daisy on January 30th! Lots of hardwork for both of them ahead this month.
