Abades the outer reef absolutely AMAZING :-)

Mermaid Diving PADI Instructor Developement Internship Tenerife Blog Randall

Monday, the day of my 100th dive, on the first dive, my 99th we went to playa negra, a dive site long forgotten, revisited by flounder and I. We did not get lucky, we didn’t find everything of interest at the site, so for the next dive we decided to go to abades, to try and find the other reef in the next bay along, Flounder and I set of and after a 5 minute swim across sand and turtle grass, we found the reef, a beautiful set, full of life, including a marbled electric ray, a pink dentex, a couple of stingrays and a ton of jellyfish, it was the first time I saw so many things in one dive. I couldn’t of asked for a better 100th dive.

In the afternoon we went into the pool to do flounders kit exchange, and as always it was a lot of fun, and then we practiced our skills.

Tuesday, patrick and the others went to El puertito, I stayed in shop to continue doing data input and revising for my IDC, I completed a whole folder, which, though mind numbing, was a successful day.
Wednesday I also stayed in the shop for more revision and data input, not the most glamorous of weeks, but I got a lot done.

On thursday, Melissa Buzz and myself went to Casco do get Buzz’s kit, I also bought a couple of items, more because I wanted them than needed them, after the day went on as it did, doing revision and data input.

Friday was my day off, I didn’t do much, I did my usual daily swim, made some very delicious Strawberry and chocolate concoctions and let everyone try them and then relaxed for the rest of the day.

On saturday Flounder and I did pool skills, his skills are a lot better Patrick was busy doing a refresher for Wendell. Then in the shop I booked in some customers for the next week, and did more revision.

On sunday I also stayed in shop for some customers coming to do paperwork, they seem very nice and I am looking forward to diving with them. To finish of the day, we all went to big al’s for some food, the burgers there are divine. That concluded my week, and am looking forward to getting back in the water on monday.
