Another week has flown past I am 3/4 of the way through, and bad news it seems like Melissa has some problem with her eyes and can´t dive so I only got to complete one dive with her.
Monday: We dive at Las Eras calm weather almost no current, me and Tinman dive with an older gentleman who dived well, we didn´t see the rays at the open cave this time but nice diving.
Tuesday: Las Eras, Dara from Ireland,Tinman and his girlfriend Marta who have joined us here on Tenerife. She´s doing her PADI Advanced Open Water course. I´m leading, using a lot of air! The second dive feels better.
Wednesday: El Puertito Jilly and Diego from Madrid, Dara, Tinman and me diving. First dive two turtles one big and one small join us. I´ll say it again, they are cool! Cold was Jilly feeling so she took a coffee instead, when we other´s did our second dive. Now is just the little turtle but she/he followed us up to the surface. Nice creatures. Nice day.
Thursday: Kevin Daras friend from Ireland have joined us and are doing his PADI Open Water Diver Course and today he did his open water course First pool and then to Abades. I´m leading Kevin is like a rocket under water. Second dive Kevin is doing skills with Tinman. Me and Darra dive going round the reef nice dive but still using more air then before I started this leading business.
Friday: Today we are going to Poco Naufragio to see the rays. There´s been an accident on the highway so the customers and Percy are late. To the sub site the Yellow submarine also goes and the time is close to when it departs. Kevin´s doing his skills with Tinman, so I take Jilly, Diego and Darra down. The rays are coming up from the depth just as we land on the bottom, two real big ones. I have fish and they are hungry because it´s so close till the yellow submarine coming. They are a very intense, covering me and chewing my hair. We dive down to the little wreck more big rays, cool. We can here the submarine a big roam! It´s time to get up the boats not there it had to move for the divers who follow the yellow submarine. It´s a little bit of an adventure to get up on the boat again, but we all do fine.
Second dive we go to Yellow Mountain I´m leading not as intense as the sub site. But we have to go back and retrieve the rope. We had to leave it behind as it had tangled itself in to the boy. It´s wavy. It feels like I´m riding a wild horse when I´m trying to release the rope, finally I manage!
What else?
Next week it´s just two weeks left! It´s crazy, time just fly… Still taking my Cortado Leche y Leche and maybe a small beer… Trying to swim a little bit after the diving but it´s hard. It´s funny not long ago I was a novice and now I feel like it´s routine diving. I guess it´s because you live with diving the whole time.
Blinky,
